Star Trek #29 continues the “all-new Five Year Mission of the Enterprise.” In this issue, “Captain Jane Tiberius Kirk and her crew encounter a never-before-seen enemy in deep space! Wait… Jane Kirk? What’s going on?! All will be revealed in the first chapter of this new two-part story.”
Written by Mike Johnson with art by Yasmin Liang and cover by Cat Staggs, Star Trek #29 is overseen by Roberto Orci.
Star Trek #29 is also thirty-two pages in length, and will sell for $3.99.
I remember a time when Gene Roddenberry and Lincoln Enterprises had to approve all Trek-based fiction. My how times have changed.
that female Kirk comic reminds me of a old Carol Burnett skit XD
More JJ-Trek…who cares!
Just when you think you can’t be more disappointed, they disappoint so much more.
I know the very one you are talking about!
That “Jane T. Kirk” crap was a Red Dwarf episode.
I am so proud that a major comics publisher is carrying on the Trek tradition of gender-reversal fanfic, for those who want to see the crew schtupp themselves and/or each other, but are deathly afraid of going full slash and what that implies about their sexuality.
Captain Jane Tiberius Kirk? Seriously? Isn’t it bad enough that we have terrible Jane/Jamie/Jim the female Kirk fan fiction. And then there’s the MPreg fan fiction which amounts to utter hogwash.
