Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Michelle Forbes will be seen in a recurring role on Season Two of the BBC America drama Orphan Black.

Orphan Black is the story of the orphaned Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany), who finds out that assuming the identity of a lookalike woman after the woman commits suicide doesn’t solve her problems, but introduces new ones.

Manning finds out that both she and the deceased women were one of almost a dozen clones, and someone is out to kill them all.

Forbes will play Marian Bowles, a “powerful new player at the Dyad institute with a birds-eye view on the war between Sarah and Rachel.” Rachel is one of the clones.

Orphan Black will return for its second season on April 19, with a UK premiere to occur later this year.

  1. I’ve been meaning to get into this series. Watched the first episode and liked it quite a bit bust haven’t had time to start a new show lately. Michelle Forbes joining the cast is just another reason to start!

  2. I’m pretty sure the stink of Chicago Fire has nothing to do with Forbes, but rather the pile of fecal matter that is the show.
