A new park to open in Alhama de Murcia, Spain late next year will be of interest to Star Trek fans.
The park, Paramount Park Murcia, will feature several Trek-themed rides.
Paramount Park Murcia will not only be an amusement park, but will also include a Lifestyle Center area, with condos, office buildings, leisure gardens, and hotels.
The “lands” included in the park are: Paseo Paramount, where guests will enter the park through a recreation of the legendary Hollywood Paramount Studios gate, Adventure City, Rango’s West, the Enchanted Forest, and Plaza Futura.
Plaza Futura will be where Trek fans will find the Star Trek attractions, including Starfleet Spain recruiting center, a “3D simulator ride that will be set in a recruitment center in which guests will live adventures in outer space, and the Warp Speed Coaster, a high-speed roller coaster with loops and an underground section.
Paramount Park Murcia is scheduled to open in late 2015.
