Quinto’s Banshee Chapter

A new horror/thriller executive produced by Star Trek into Darkness’ Zachary Quinto is out on DVD and VOD in the UK courtesy of the UK’s distribution entity Intense Distribution and independent label 101 Films.
Banshee Chapter is “the story of a journalist Anne Roland as she explores the disturbing links behind her friend’s sudden disappearance, an ominous government research chemical, and a disturbing radio broadcast of unknown origin. The film is based on true events and real accounts of the US government’s involvement with human experimentation.”

Directed by Blair Erickson, Banshee Chapter stars Katia Winter (Dexter, Sleepy Hollow), Ted Levine (Silence of the Lambs) and Michael McMillian (True Blood). Quinto was the executive producer on the movie.
Banshee Chapter has won several awards; Total Film‘s “Scariest Movie” Award at Film4 FrightFest 2013 and the “Scariest Movie” Award at Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2013.
