Orange is the New Black will be returning for a third season.
Star Trek: Voyager‘s Kate Mulgrew plays trustee Galina “Red” Reznikov on the series.
In Orange is the New Black, Piper Chapman’s (Taylor Schilling) “wild past comes back to haunt her, resulting in her arrest and detention in a federal penitentiary. The new prisoner finds unexpected conflict and camaraderie amidst an eccentric group of inmates.”
“It’s official!! Season 3!!” said Laura Prepon, who plays inmate Alex Vause, on her Instagram account.
The second season of the series will begin airing June 6. Work on the third season has begun.
