Trek 3 Shooting Next Spring?

During a recent appearance on The Today Show, Star Trek into Darkness’ Zachary Quinto speculated on when Star Trek 3 would begin shooting.
Quinto made his comments while promoting his new series, The Chair.
“I think it’s is on the horizon”, he said. “Things are rumbling, so I have a feeling that we will be back in production sometime in the next six months.”
That would be around next March or so.
