Park Joins Castle

Star Trek: Enterprise‘s Linda Park has joined the cast of ABC‘s Castle.
Castle is a crime drama and features mystery novelist Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), and NYPD homicide detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).
In the seventeenth episode of this season’s Castle, due to air in March, Park will arrive as “hot-shot Hong Kong cop” Inspector Zhang, who will be working together with Beckett, who is not thrilled about the pairing.
Zhang is “kind of like Beckett, except even better, so that puts Beckett in a bit of a tailspin, to be dealing with somebody who in her eyes is more accomplished and proficient.”
Castle airs Mondays on ABS at 10 PM.

Is she actually joining the cast or just guest starring in an episode or two?
She’s joining the cast as a regular-good to see the other Ms. Park get work again.
Now, if only the rest of the cast (apart from Scott Backula) can get regular series work…
I agree. I really liked the cast of Enterprise. I have noticed John Billingsley popping up all over the place but I haven’t really seen anyone but he and Scott Bakula in anything since Enterprise ended.
