Nichols Recovering

Nichelle Nichols is well on the road to recovery after her recent stroke on June 3.
The actress is back home and doing well.
“I am feeling the best that I’ve felt in a very long time,” said Nichols.
After her inpatient rehabilitation and recovery program, Nichelle said that she has no loss of mobility. “Not at all. I am as wild and woolly as I have ever been.”
“Yeah, I’m a fighter,” she said. “Don’t be messing with my game. My game is my career.”
Nichols thanked her fans via her Facebook page. “Hello everybody,” she said. “I just wanted to take a minute to thank you personally for all of your love and support over the last two weeks…I’m looking forward to meeting my fans in Miami next week.”

“Woolly”, Nichelle? I had to look it up…and I’m still pretty much confused. 🙂
I’ve only ever been to two Star Trek conventions, in the 90s (back when Trek had its own conventions, not this ComicCon crap nowadays where Trek is only a minor part of the attraction), and Nichelle was at one of them. She came across as a very nice lady, and genuinely grateful for the experiences she’s had.
