The latest Strongbow Hard Cider commercial featuring Sir Patrick Stewart has made its debut.
It will be the last one featuring Stewart, who was fired.
Stewart appeared in one other ad for Strongbow, where an award for the brand got more attention in the ad than the actor, and in this one, it’s curtains for Stewart.
The point of the ads (besides “buy our stuff”) is that the product is so good, that a celebrity is not needed to promote it.

While it’s a funny spot, it isn’t very flattering for Sir Patrick. I understand he has a great sense of humor, though.
