Wheaton Launches New TableTop Series

A new game has made its debut on Wil Wheaton’s TableTop series.
The game is Titansgrave: The Ashes of Valkana, based on an RPG of the same title.
TableTop, co-created by Wheaton and actress Felicia Day, features Wheaton and celebrity guests, who come together to play both board and tabletop games, while “explaining them to the audience.”
The cast this series of gaming (which will include ten chapters), includes Hank Green and Laura Bailey.
“It was incredibly difficult to cast this show,” said Wheaton. “We needed people who were very comfortable improvising, who had experience playing role-playing games, and who were available when we planned to shoot the show. It was surprisingly difficult.
“They are all wonderful storytellers, and they are going to be a tremendous party of adventurers. I’m only going to try to kill them a little bit.”
Released several days ago, so far reaction to Titansgrave has been positive. “So far, everyone seems to love the characters, the players, and the story as much as I do,” said Wheaton, “and that makes me so incredibly excited because I know what the future holds for all of us, and now I wish it was next week as much as you do.”
