Attention, Canadians, tonight William Shatner will be appearing on the Murdoch Mysteries as Mark Twain.
Based on the series of novels by Maureen Jennings, Murdoch Mysteries is set at the turn of the 20th century and revolves around Detective William Murdoch of the Toronto constabulary, who uses ground-breaking forensic techniques to close his cases.
The episode featuring Shatner airs tonight on CBC.

I hope a kind Canadian fan will record the program and YouTube it for those of us not privileged to be Canadian.nnIt’s cute how so many of the actors say that they “weren’t Trekkies,” but when faced with William Shatner, they get all fanboyish about him. 🙂
The show’s available on cable in the USA under a different name (The Artful Detective) and it’s on the Ovation channel.
