Saldana In I Kill Giants

1 min read

Zoë Saldana will be starring in I Kill Giants, an adaptation of a graphic novel by Joe Kelly.

In I Kill Giants, Barbara (Madison Wolfe) is “a young misfit girl who has taken her fantasy life a little far, and is battling both real and imagined monsters. She’s convinced that giants are real and on their way, and it’s her responsibility to stop them when they show up. Her fantasy life has started seeping into her real life, and as the audience gains a deeper understanding of things from her point of view, we begin to understand that she sees signs in the clouds might be telling her that bad things might be coming.”

Saldana will be taking on the role of Mrs. Mollé, the school psychologist “who helps Barbara through her struggles and forms a tight bond with her as a result.”

I’m thrilled to have the massively talented Zoë helping us bring Joe Kelly’s beautiful story to life,” said Anders Walter, who will be directing the film. “I couldn’t be more excited to see Mrs. Mollé, a kind, strong and incredibly inspirational character up on the big screen.”

I Kill Giants will begin production in August.
