Star Trek Beyond‘s Idris Elba will be producing and acting in Five by Five.
The BBC‘s Five by Five is a set of five mini-movies set in London.
In these mini-movies, people will face “chance encounters…which question identity and change perception.”
Co-produced by BBC Studios and Green Door Pictures, Five by Five will be written by Cat Jones, Lee Coan, Namsi Khan, Selina Lim, and Nathanial Price.
“I have spent time with these five talented writers and observed their story-lining process,” said Elba. “The scripts are uplifting and incredible, and with this group of young actors now attached to star, BBC Three viewers are in for an absolute blast. I couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved.”
