Star Trek Beyond GLAAD Media Award Nominee

The 28th annual GLAAD Media Awards nominees were announced recently and Star Trek Beyond is on the list.
The GLAAD Media Awards “recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community and the issues that affect their lives.”
Star Trek Beyond was nominated in the Outstanding Film (Wide Release), where it will go up against Moonlight.
Two awards ceremonies will be held this year; one in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 1 and one in New York on Saturday, May 6.
