Idris Elba and charity fundraising site Omaze are offering a chance at a date with Elba in return for donations to the W.E. Can Lead initiative.
W.E. Can Lead seeks “to empower young people with comprehensive information and access to a full range of reproductive health services to build and support strong, healthy families in which every child is wanted and cared for as a human right,” in Sub-Saharan Africa. “W.E. Can Lead envisions a world where every girl receives a quality education, her inherent potential is fully realized and she is able to influence her world. W.E. Can Lead is committed to ensuring young girls receive the educational opportunity, leadership development and mentoring support necessary to become the new generation of female leaders across the continent of Africa.”
