Pine In Outlaw King?

Chris Pine is in talks for a major role in Netflix‘s period drama Outlaw King.

Outlaw King will “tell a different version than Braveheart did” on the Scottish King Robert the Bruce.

Pine would play Bruce while David Mackenzie would direct. Ben Foster would play James Douglas, Bruce’s chief advisor.

Outlaw King will begin filming in Scotland in August.
