Rapp Takes Heat For Spacey Job Loss

2 min read

Star Trek: Discovery’s Anthony Rapp is being victimized yet again, this time by fans who are angry that his abuser Kevin Spacey‘s House of Cards was cancelled.

The “vast majority of [the tweets that I have received] have been incredibly supportive,” said Rapp. “But then there are tweets such as these that just boggle my mind…”

One Twitter user said “I hate u son of a bitch!! I hope your career will be finished soon!! You’re only seeking for attetion, cause your career its a bit shit!!”

Another person with stellar typing skills said this: “Real people are being affected by this accusation of 3 decades agao,” said another. “Cast and crew who now have to find new jobs to feed their families and pay bills. I hope this is what Mr. Rapp wanted.”

Some Instagram users also joined in on the nastiness. “Do you spend all your day to defend this Anthony piece of shit?” said one. “He got one of the best shows cancelled and a great talented actor under fire over what something that happened a fucking century ago. This dude just wanted fucking attention. He is sick and he deserves this comments.”

Rapp was gracious in the heat of social media battle, thanking those who did not ‘victim blame’ him. “Thank you to all of you who have been expressing support and solidarity,” he said. “Your kindness is felt and much appreciated. And I have experienced such support far more than I have experienced negativity.”
