Another Trek-Themed Comic To Debut in March

1 min read

IDW Publishing will be releasing another comic in March in addition to the two previously announced ones.

The comic is Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 5. This comic follows the crew of the USS Enterprise, in the Kelvin timeline, on their five year mission.

In this issue, “an away team becomes exposed when a massive alien ship arrives in orbit in the Deity story. Then, Captain Kirk and the crew are about to encounter their strangest discovery yet, themselves in Live Evil, a Mirror Universe story. Next, the USS Enterprise meets up with “a renegade faction of Orions intent on disrupting the truce between their species and the Federation in Reunion. In Legacy of Spock, the elder Spock “joins the last survivors of Vulcan to search the galaxy for a new home.” In the final story, Connection, “the crew comes into contact with a ship that looks eerily familiar.”

Written by Mike Johnson with art and a cover by Tony Shasteen, Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 5 will be two-hundred-and-ninety-two pages in length and is being released as a trade paperback. The price for Star Trek: New Adventures Vol. 5 will be $29.99.
