May will be a busy month for Star Trek comics, with seven Trek-themed comics arriving in stores.

The comics include: Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #s 1-5, Star Trek: Discovery: Succession #2, and Star Trek: Boldly Go, Vol. 3.

In Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #1, “the Mirror Universe Next Generation crew is looking for new worlds to conquer, and they’re crossing over to the Prime Star Trek Universe to find them! Also in each issue: Just how did the Mirror Universe crew find their way to ours, and what does Emperor Spock have to do with it? Backup stories every issue illustrated by Mirror Broken co-creator J.K. Woodward!” All five issues of Through the Mirror were co-written by David and Scott Tipton, are thirty-two pages long and cost $3.99 each.

Through The Mirror #1 is illustrated by Chris Johnson and J.K. Woodward, both of whom also provide cover art.

In Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #2, “When the Enterprise-D discovers a burned-out, pillaged Andorian vessel, the search for the culprits behind it leads to some startlingly familiar faces!”

This issue was illustrated by Marcus To, and J.K. Woodward, both of whom also do covers for the issue.

In Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #3, “It’s interstellar espionage aboard the Enterprise-D when the Mirror Universe crew infiltrates Captain Picard’s ship! What are they up to? The answers are here!”

In this issue, Josh Hood and J.K. Woodward provide the art and create the covers.

In Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #4, “Finally, Mirror Picard’s plot is revealed! It’s Enterprise crew versus Enterprise crew, with the fate of a galaxy hanging in the balance!”

Look for art and cover work by Carlos Nieto and J.K. Woodward.

Finally, in Star Trek: The Next Generation: Through The Mirror #5, “Can Captain Picard prevent his Mirror counterpart’s plans for galactic conquest? It’s the explosive finale.”

Debora Carita and J.K. Woodward provide the art and covers for this issue.

Star Trek: Discovery: Succession #2 is “the second Discovery miniseries from IDW Publishing.” In this issue, “your favorite characters from the hit CBS All Access series dive into an adventure tied directly into the second half of the first season.”

Written by Mike Johnson and Kirsten Beyer, and featuring art by Angel Hernandez, Elizabeth Beals, and Declan Shalvey (with covers by all three), Succession #2 will be thirty-two pages in length and will sell for $3.99.

Finally, Star Trek: Boldly Go, Vol. 3 asks, “What if Kirk and the Enterprise crew were robots? What if Klingons founded Starfleet? What if Spock wasn’t Vulcan? What if all these realities collided? The Star Trek mega-event I.D.I.C. brings together all of these worlds for one huge, universe-threatening adventure.

“The Vulcan philosophy of celebrating ‘Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations’ is one of acceptance, but can the universe accept the simultaneous existence of multiple realities? It’s a team-up for the ages as numerous incarnations of Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise crew must work together to stop a foe that threatens all of existence! Written by Mike Johnson, and featuring art by Josh Hood, Megan Levens, Tana Ford, and Marcus To, this issue also features a cover by Tony Shasteen. The one-hundred-and-forty-four page issue will cost $19.99.
