Pine To Return in Wonder Woman Sequel

Chris Pine is to return as U.S. Military Intelligence Officer Steve Trevor in the sequel to last year’s Wonder Woman.
Director Patty Jenkins revealed yesterday that Steve Trevor, presumed dead, was still very much alive. “Welcome to Wonder Woman 1984, Steve Trevor,” she said via Twitter.
The sequel, set in 1984 as the title indicates, will feature Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) who will “[face] off” against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) will have a “pivotal” part in the film, which takes place during the Cold War.
Wonder Woman 1984 will open in November 2019.
