Burton: I’d Host Jeopardy!

Recently, Alex Trebek announced that he would be leaving Jeopardy! in 2020 when his contract is up, and LeVar Burton would like to take his place.
“I’ve made it very clear,” said Burton at Star Trek Las Vegas, “when Alex Trebek retires in two years, I want that job.”
Last week on his Twitter account, Burton said, “There is only one game show I’ve ever wanted to host…This is Jeopardy!”
Back in 1995, Burton appeared on the show; winning $14,500 for the Somalia Foundation.
