IDW Publishing’s Star Trek: Waypoint To Return

Fans of the Star Trek: Waypoint series of comics will be glad to hear that an “extra-length one shot” will be released in late autumn.
Waypoint was a six-issue series that IDW described as “A blockbuster bi-monthly anthology to celebrate fifty years of Star Trek, featuring short stories across all Treks, by the top talent of today and yesterday!”
Past issues featured stories about La Forge and Data, Uhura, Kirk and Spock, Yeoman Leslie Thompson, Kira Nerys, Naomi Wildman, Porthos the beagle, Beverly Crusher, Picard and Worf, Bashir, Christine Chapel, and more.
The new issue will feature three stories, including a The Next Generation story, a Deep Space Nine story, and a tale that will “cover the entire length of Trek history.”
The new stories will be written by Dave Baker, Brandon Easton, Nicole Goux, Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzig, and Matthew Dow Smith. Artwork will come courtesy of Goux, Josh Hood, Sonny Liew, and Smith.
Look for Star Trek: Waypoint in November.
