“Now that the first update for Age of Discovery is available for the PC version of Star Trek Online (to be released on consoles at a later date)…, players can log into the free-to-play MMORPG based on the iconic Star Trek universe to experience brand new content expanding on the popular CBS All Access series, Star Trek: Discovery.”
Players can now use a brand new Starter Pack for Age of Discovery, which “contains everything players need for their new Discovery Captain, including a Tardigrade pet, Discovery weapons, inventory slots, a large XP boost and the brand new Walker-class Prototype Light Exploration Cruiser. For the first time in the game’s history, this new scaling starship will feature Hull and Shield values that level up with character progression.”
So, what about that code giveaway? Well, courtesy of Star Trek Online, TrekToday will be giving away fifty codes for the Age of Discovery Starter Pack. Here’s exactly what is in that starter pack:
- A Walker-class Prototype Light Exploration Cruiser
- 12 Additional Inventory Slots
- 1x Large (150,000) Experience Bonus Pool
- Discovery-era Phaser Sniper Rifle
