Nichols’ Son Has Restraining Order Served Against Him

In the ongoing battle for the guardianship of Nichelle Nichols, a restraining order has been filed against her son Kyle Johnson.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has issued the temporary order, which means that Johnson must stay away from Nichols’ manager Gilbert Bell, who allegedly received death threats from Johnson. Bell lives near Nichols and takes care of her.
Nichols, who suffers from dementia, apparently is now afraid of her son. A few weeks ago, when her son entered the courtroom, she screamed when he appeared and demanded that he “get [his] hands off of me. You’re trying to get rid of me.”
“I didn’t give permission to have conservatorship over me. I didn’t know what he was doing,” she said of her son.
According to CBS 46, “long-time handlers and friends claim the son has ill intentions.”
