Star Trek into Darkness‘ Anton Yelchin is in talks for a role in Warcraft.
Warcraft is the Legendary Pictures/Atlas Entertainment adaptation of the World of Warcraft video game.
World of Warcraft is a role-playing game set in a medieval setting complete with dragons, zombies, werewolves, elves, steam-powered automatons and gryphons. The game also includes time travel, alien worlds and spaceships.
Others negotiating for roles in Warcraft are Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Colin Farrell, Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paul Dano (Prisoners), and Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels).
Directed by Duncan Jones, and written by Charles Leavitt, Warcraft will begin production in January.
