Montgomery’s Chariot On DVD
1 min readAnthony Montgomery fans waiting for the release of his latest film, Chariot, can purchase a DVD of the movie beginning tomorrow.
In Chariot, “seven strangers wake aboard a passenger jet in mid-flight and find themselves unwitting participants in a government evacuation program. As a seemingly devastating attack unfolds on the U.S. homeland, the passengers learn they have been chosen to be saved because of their unique skills and/or political connections. But from the beginning, the plan appears to be ill-conceived and for those aboard things quickly go from bad to worse.”
Produced by Montgomery, Eric Vale, and Brad Osborne; and directed by Osborne, the film is a “a commentary on the power and reach of the government,” said Osborne. “But I never could have predicted the subject would be so top-of-mind in the public consciousness at the very moment of Chariot’s release.”
“I just set out to write a thriller,” said Vale, who wrote the script for Chariot. “But what was initially a fairly far-fetched plot now seems eerily believable.”
Chariot will be released tomorrow and will be available exclusively at Walmart, with a VOD and Redbox release scheduled by the end of the year.
I see Montgomery still hasn’t learned how to deliver a line.
Well, Dandru, that certainly wasn’t very kind! The film appears to be a decent Twilight Zone kinda story. And I have to respectfully disagree with you regarding Montgomery’s acting – I see no problem with it.
Kind or not, it’s true. Montgomery was easily the worst actor in any of the Star Trek series, which is why Travis is such a universally hated character.
He seemed more overlooked than hated. I don’t see many fans claiming to hate him.
Overlooked? No, he’s widely considered the worst character. More often than not, his is the name fans choose.
Yeah, he sucks.
