Auberjonois Joins Drama

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine‘s Rene Auberjonois has joined the cast of a Showtime drama.
The drama, Masters of Sex, will begin its second season this summer.
Auberjonois will take on the guest star role of Dr. Papanikolaou, a “former professor of Dr. DePaul (Julianne Nicholson). DePaul and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) hope Papanikolaou will endorse their screening program that uses the test named after him: the Pap smear.”
Also joining the cast is Courtney B. Vance, who will guest star as Dr. Hendricks; who heads an African-American hospital in St. Louis.
The second season of Masters of Sex is currently under production and new episodes will begin airing July 13.
