Takei To Host Pittsburgh Symphony PNC Pops’ Sci-Fi Spectacular

Attention fellow Yinzers: Star Trek‘s George Takei is coming to town to helm a series of concerts starring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
The shows will be held November 14-16 at Heinz Hall in downtown Pittsburgh.
The Sci-Fi Spectacular will feature vocalist Kristen Plumley, and music from Star Trek, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 2001: A Space Odyssey and other sci-fi movies/TV shows.
Takei has been a host for two dozen other Sci-Fi Spectaculars, including shows in Milwaukee, Toronto, Detroit, and Cleveland.
