Saldana Joins I Kill Giants

Star Trek into Darkness‘ Zöe Saldana has joined the cast of I Kill Giants.
The actress will take on the role of a school psychologist in the picture.
In I Kill Giants, based on a 2008 graphic novel by Joe Kelly, a misfit girl battles “both real and imaginary monsters in her life.”
Saldana, as Mrs. Mollé, “plays a key role by helping the protagonist face both internal and external threats, forming a bond with her in the process.”
Madison Wolfe will take on the role of the young girl Barbara.
Written by Kelly, I Kill Giants will be directed by Anders Walter.
Filming on I Kill Giants will begin next year.
