1 min read

Blunt Talk, Sir Patrick Stewart‘s latest project, is currently filming its second season and look for one of Stewart’s former The Next Generation co-stars to appear again this season.

In Blunt Talk, Stewart plays Walter Blunt, a Stephen Colbert-type character as a British TV host of a cable news show. Blunt, is a borderline alcoholic who presents a nightly interview show and deals with his network bosses, staff and family.

STARZ has provided a synopsis of the second season: “Walter Blunt (Stewart) and his team are on top of the network ratings when Walter runs into an old flame (cast newcomer Lesley Ann Warren), in town to investigate a conspiracy involving one of Los Angeles’ most crucial environmental threats. Rosalie (Jacki Weaver), Jim (Timm Sharp), Celia (Dolly Wells), Martin (Karan Soni) and Shelly (Mary Holland), with all their various neuroses intact, are by Walter’s side as he delves into his past, which leads him into a web of intrigue affecting the future of L.A.”

Brent Spiner, who appeared in several episodes in the first season of Blunt Talk, will be returning for the second season.

Blunt Talk will be airing on STARZ this autumn.
