Star Trek Beyond Weekend Earnings

Star Trek Beyond is set for a sixty million dollar opening weekend, according to estimates and should lead the weekend box office.
This is double the weekend take of other films such as The Secret Life of Pets (estimated twenty-eight million), Ice Age: Collision Course (twenty-one million), Lights Out (twenty million) and Ghostbusters (twenty-one million).
Star Trek Beyond earned twenty-two million dollars on Friday.
The film is not expected to do as well though as Star Trek into Darkness (seventy million) or Star Trek (2009) (seventy-five million).
