Black Mirror Trek-Themed Episode

A fourth season episode of the science-fiction series Black Mirror will parody Star Trek.
Black Mirror is a “sci-fi anthology series” that “explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.”
The episode in question, titled USS Callister, will feature a new crewmember aboard Captain Kelly’s (Jesse Pelmons) starship. In that episode, “the crew finds itself stranded on the surface of an alien planet, trapped by a villain wielding a gigantic bizarre-looking gun or laser.”
Expect to see USS Callister next year.
