Two Trek Actors Up For Role In Call of Duty

If potential Call of Duty Director Stefano Sollima has his way, two Trek actors would be in the running for rules in Call of Duty. Sollima is currently in negotiations to direct the movie, which might finally be getting ready to head into production.
One of Sollima’s choices would be Tom Hardy, best-known to Trek fans for his work in Star Trek: Nemesis as Shinzon. “I like almost everything [he’s been in],” said Sollima. “I’m waiting for his Venom. Even in Mad Max, he was great.”
His other choice would be Star Trek Beyond‘s Chris Pine. “He’s tough, but he’s smart and he can have a sense of humor but he can [also] be in such a dramatic role,” said Sollima. “I like when you feel that an actor can play with different nuances and tone because this means they’re a good actor.”
Call of Duty would be based on the game of the same name.
