Another United Nations Role For Yeoh

Star Trek: Discovery‘s Michelle Yeoh, who is already the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador, is taking on another role in the UN.
Yeoh will “raise awareness and mobilize support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), launched in 2016, to end poverty by 2030.”
By 2030, it’s estimated that half of the people on Earth who are poor will be living in countries where war is raging.
“Our aim is to show that each and every one of us can play an active part in reaching a globally shared vision of a future without poverty, inequality or climate change,” said Yeoh.
