Another Trek Editor Gets The Ax
1 min readJust months after the last round of Simon & Schuster layoffs, in which Senior Editor Marco Palmieri lost his job, word is that another Star Trek editor has been downsized.
Times are tough in these troubled economic times and people are keeping their wallets closed other than for necessities. Simon & Schuster sales for the first six months of 2009 were down 11.4% and profits were down 76%.
As a result, it appears that another round of downsizing has occurred at Simon & Schuster, with Pocket Book editor Margaret Clark being the latest to get the ax.
Star Trek literature fans will surely be sorry to see Clark go and wish her all luck in her future endeavors.
