The first Star Trek game created for the Playstation 2 and Xbox platforms, Star Trek: Shattered Universe hits shelves on January 13th.
The story centers on the popular Captain Sulu and the Excelsior, beginning with a joint rescue mission by the Excelsior and the Enterprise-A in which Sulu finds himself in the alternate universe of "Mirror, Mirror", according to an article at StarTrek.com.
"Death can come in a thousand cuts," Chekov proclaims to Sulu as he launches an assault on the Excelsior, accusing Sulu of betraying the Terran Empire.
The one-player game, from TDK Mediactive and Starsphere Interactive, sends players on missions that cover over a dozen levels of arcade-style action, as Sulu and his crew work to return to his own universe.
George Takei and Walter Koenig perform the voices of Sulu and Chekov respectively.
Shattered Universe will be available for purchase on Tuesday, January 13th. You can buy it from Amazon.com for the PS2 or Xbox.
