The opportunities for bad puns are endless - Series V actress Linda Park will be making her feature film debut when 'Jurassic Park III' opens this week.
The official Star Trek site reported the involvement of Park, who stars in Enterprise as Communications Officer Hoshi Sato. In 'Jurassic Park III,' the actress will be playing a character named Hannah, about which no other information is currently known, though it is said to be a fairly small role.
Besides being her feature film debut, the role in 'Jurassic Park III' will also be one of Park's first roles altogether. The only other role included in her credits in the Internet Movie Database was a guest spot on the WB series Popular in March of this year, in which she played an Asian woman named Anna Lin. 'Jurassic Park III' will feature the talents of two other actors with Trek connections. Mark Harelik, who played Inspector Kashyk in 'Counterpoint,' will appear as a character named Ben. Bruce French, who had three guest appearances on Trek, will play a Science Reporter. He played Sabin Genestra on TNG's 'The Drumhead,' the Ocampan Doctor in 'Caretaker,' and the first Son'a Officer in 'Star Trek: Insurrection.'
'Jurassic Park III' has its American premiere tomorrow, the 18th of July. The original article on this can be found here on the official Star Trek site, while the official 'Jurassic Park III' site can be found here.
