1 min readEven though details on her character were few, Sonita Henry enjoyed playing the doctor responsible for delivering James T. Kirk.
As reported by Starpulse, although her character’s name was unknown to her, after Star Trek XI debuts, Henry’s will be known to Star Trek fans as woman who played the role of the first person to “meet” James T. Kirk.Henry has a sense of humor about being the first person to hold the infant Kirk. “I am the person that delivers Kirk, holds Kirk,” she said. “And I like to think that if I had sneezed or fallen…what would have happened to Star Trek?”
Who Winona Kirk’s OB is or from where she came is still an unrevealed mystery, even to Henry. “I’m not sure where my character is from, they never told me that. I won’t know what I look like until I actually watch the movie.”
