Pegg At London Trek Premiere

1 min read

Not only the Star Trek fans were dressed up for the London Star Trek XI premiere.

As reported by MSN UK, while he didn’t wear Vulcan ears like some fans, Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in Star Trek XI, donned a kilt for the Star Trek XI premiere in London’s Empire Leicester Square.

Insisting that it wasn’t silly to dress up, Pegg said, “It’s brilliant. Anyone who looks down on it is cynical.”

Pegg was inspired to dress up by the Scottish side of his family.

Coming to the Empire Leicester Square for the premiere was a thrill for Pegg. “For me, tonight is very special,” he explained. “It’s the Empire Leicester Square. I saw films here as a child … it’s a geek dream come true.”
