Star Trek: Online Update: 2390

1 min read

More history for the Star Trek: Online MMORPG game has been released, this time for the year 2390.

As reported by Star Trek: Online, the Federation’s relationship with the Klingon Empire is deteriorating, but in spite of that, needs for defense have to be addressed, as raids on civilian ships and settlements along the borders of the Klingon Empire and Gorn Hegemony have risen. These raids are a concern to the Federation Transport Union, which represents a large group of civilian freighter captains, and which demands that Starfleet increase its patrols in light of the increased raids.

The Klingons have their own problems with being overstretched by a two-front war against both the Romulans and the Gorn. They elect to slow their advance into Romulan space, while keeping the territory gained from their incursions the year before, and they are also increasing their ship production as rapidly as possible.

Romulan colony worlds are forming a network of alliances, but no one leader has been found to unite them all under one banner. Other Romulan colony worlds are seeking other allies, outside of the Romulan Star Empire.

Cardassians enjoy their newfound liberty, but not all are content with this and see a return to the old ways.
