Quinto Too Realistic A Robber

1 min read

While filming a video, Zachary Quinto was a little too realistic in a scene as a robber leading to an unexpected visit.

As reported by E! Online, Quinto plays a pistol-wielding robber in Kiss My Bundt, a Funny or Die video. While filming, his acting caught the attention of someone, who called the police thinking that a robbery was in progress. “When someone saw Zach hold up a real gun and scream, ‘This is a goddamn hold up!’ they called the police,” explained Bundt owner Chrysta Wilson.

During another take of the same scene, the cops were called again. At that point, Quinto and Director Hank Nelken decided to tone down the scene. “They knew if the cops were called again, the set was going to be shut down,” said Wilson. “They were whispering their lines in the alley. They knew they had to nail it on the last take.”

Wilson could understand why some might have found the portrayal realistic. “Zachary is scary as hell,” she said. “I was in the back, making batter, and he was running through the script. All I could hear was, ‘Nobody f–king move!’ He plays evil very well.”
