eFX To Offer Star Trek Collectibles
1 min readeFX Inc., known to Star Wars fans for its high-end collectibles from that franchise, will begin offering Star Trek-related collectibles.
The collectibles, based on the TV series and films, will be introduced later this year, with the first collectible offered to be a Mark IX tricorder as seen in Star Trek: First Contact.
“For many of us, Star Trek was our introduction to the possibilities and promise of science-fiction storytelling,” said eFX Inc. President Bryan Ono. “It is an absolute honor to have been given the chance to bring Star Trek collectibles to fans.”
The production run for the Mark IX tricorder will be limited to no more than one thousand pieces worldwide. They will be offered as a “signature edition,” signed by Brent Spiner (Data). Collectors should be able to pre-order the Mark IX tricorder in September.
“With the addition of Star Trek to the eFX catalog, we’re very proud to be home to high-end collectibles based on some of the most classic entertainment properties and brands,” said Ono.
