Star Trek Blu-Ray Season Three Announced

Star Trek original series fans awaiting the Blu-ray release of the third and final season got good news with the word that the final season will release in high-def this December.

Holiday shopping might be easier for some this year with the news that the third season of the original series will be released on Blu-ray disc on December 15.

The episodes will be available in both “as aired” and “remastered” versions. Subtitles are available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The video is high-def 1080p resolution, but formatted to 1:33:1 full screen as originally aired. The run time is listed as 1350 minutes (over twenty-two hours.)

As always, there are plenty of extras with the set. Fans of The Cage will be interested in “Where No Fan Has Gone Before, the Restored, Unaired Alternate Pilot Episode.” In addition to that, the list includes:
