1 min readEven though Star Trek: Online is only days away from launch, that doesn’t mean the developers have stopped planning how to improve the game.
Lately, the talk around Star Trek: Online has been about the Klingons, but get ready for the Borg, with three new high-level episodes centered around them.
Players can “help save civilians caught in a battle between the Borg and Undine, rescue colonists infected by the Borg virus as well as fight Undine determined to destroy them” and go back in time courtesy of Q to do a favor for him.
Also forthcoming will be “raid episodes” which will be available to both Federation and Klingon players.
- Infected – Investigate a federation station that Starfleet has lost contact with.
- The Cure – A planet has been completely taken over by the Borg. Fight them for control of the planet.
- Khitomer Accord – Travel back in time and uncover and participate in the events that led to the release of old Borg you encountered in the Tutorial Episode.
- Into the Hive – Track down a missing Starfleet captain and come face to face with the new Borg Queen.
Also on tap for the future: Klingon fleet actions, a brand new tier 2 Klingon Battle Cruiser, Klingon Star Clusters (additional PvE content for the Klingon faction), Federation vs. Federation PvP, new ground assault PvP map, new ground fleet action and more IP locations, such as Rura Penthe.
