Scottish Politician Is A Trek Fan

Many fans know that various American politicians, such as Obama, Al Gore and Scooter Libby are Star Trek fans, but politicians from other countries enjoy the various series too.
The newest politician to embrace his Trek geekiness and reveal his favorite Star Trek series is Scotland’s First Minister, Alex Salmond.
“I am an obsessive Trekkie. Voyager was my favorite, that and first series Star Trek. I’ve seen them all so many times.”
Some politicians and royalty do more than just watch Star Trek or visit the sets of a series. King Abdullah II of Jordan appeared in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager (Investigations) where, as an uncredited extra, he played the role of a science officer.
