2 min read

There will be six conventions, shows or appearances in November and December that feature Trek actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all five televised series, plus from the Star Trek movies, including guest actors.

In November, first there is a postponement to announce. Warp 10, due to be held Nov 5-7 in Northampton, U.K., will not be held until next September. The postponement is due to the unavailability of specific guests for the original date.

The first of three conventions to be held in November is Wizard World Austin Comic Con, which will be held November 12-14 in Austin, Texas. Star Trek‘s Walter Koenig will be one of the featured guests.

Next up is Starbase Indy: The 15th Generation, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-28. In attendance will be: Tim Russ, Ethan Phillips, David Reddick, Manu Intiraymi (Icheb) and Crystal Allen (Orion slave girl D’Nesh from Star Trek: Enterprise: Bound). In addition, astronaut Dr. David Wolf will also be in attendance.

Fans of Armin Shimerman can see him at The Entertainment Media Show & Collectormania London which will be held in London on Nov 27-28.

In December, there will be three conventions. For Star Trek fans living in Hawaii or looking for a good excuse to visit Hawaii, Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention in Hawaii will take place December 4-5 in Honolulu. Celebrating the 45th anniversary of Star Trek, celebrity guests will include: Armin Shimerman, J.G. Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly, Max Grodenchik, Casey Biggs, Vaughn Armstrong and Jeffrey Combs. Entertainment will include the Star Trek “Rat Pack” Performance with Grodenchik, Armstrong, Combs, Biggs and Shimerman, and “Breakfast with the Klingons,” where “Martok and Gowron have agreed to sit down at the table with humans for a ‘blood brunch.'”

Another convention will take place on December 4-5, the Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con. Held in Atlanta, Georgia, Star Trek‘s Chekov, Walter Koenig, will be in attendance at this convention.

Finally, wrapping up December and 2010, a Star Trek cruise, Star Trek Tribute Cruise 2010, will be departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 5 for a seven-day cruise, with four ports of call including Fort Lauderdale; San Juan, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Philipsburg, St. Maarten aboard the Celebrity Solstice.

Trek celebrities on the Star Trek Tribute Cruise 2010 will include Robert Picardo, Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Chase Masterson, and Rod Roddenberry. Events include a Star Trek-themed Murder Mystery show, in which fans may see some of the Trek celebrities “make a brief appearance in this event.”
