1 min read

J.J. Abrams has still not made up his mind about directing Star Trek 2, but expects to have a decision soon.

According to MTV, Abrams is involved in on-going negotiations with Paramount regarding Star Trek 2, including its production schedule. “We’re working on that right now,” he said. “I hope to have some information soon.”

That information would hopefully include news about whether Abrams will direct Star Trek 2. “I would hope so,” he said, when asked about that possibility, “but we’ll see. No decisions yet, but I look forward to having the answer soon.

So Trek fans can anticipate another Star Trek movie, as well as another round of teases, secrecy and waiting.

  1. Why are we calling it Star Trek II. Star Trek II was Wrath of Khan. This should either be Star Trek XII or Star Trek with the year at the end. Of course they could also do what they did with the other movies and add a subtitle and that would take care of it.
