Trek Nation Nominated For Award

Trek Nation, Rod Roddenberry‘s “journey to discover his father and the creation that helped define science fiction,” has been nominated for a Saturn Award.

The Saturn Awards, founded in 1972, are presented each year by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films and honors science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, television, and home video.

Trek Nation was nominated for the Best Presentation On Television: (10 Episodes Or Less) award. It will go up against Camelot, Falling Skies, Game of Thrones, Torchwood: Miracle Day, and The Walking Dead.

The 38th Annual Saturn Awards will take place Wednesday, June 20, in Burbank, California.

Fans who missed the original Science Channel airings of Trek Nation can see it this week, when it will air during the following times:

  • Friday, March 23, 9 PM EDT
  • Sunday, March 24, 12 AM EDT
  • Sunday, March 25, 4 AM EDT
