Cumberbatch Nominated For Award
1 min readStar Trek 2‘s Benedict Cumberbatch has been nominated for a 2012 Critics’ Choice TV Award.
Cumberbatch was nominated for his work in the PBS Sherlock miniseries.
Five other actors were nominated along with Cumberbatch in the Best Actor in a Movie/Miniseries category. They include:
- Bill Nighy – Page Eight
- Woody Harrelson – Game Change
- Idris Elba – Luther
- Dominic West – The Hour
- Kevin Costner – Hatfields & McCoys
The Critics’ Choice Television Awards, now in its second years, honors programs and performances that aired between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012.

A “gala awards dinner” announcing the winners will be held on June 18th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
