San Diego Comic-Con Trek Guide

For those attending this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place this week, Star Trek.com has put together a listing of the must-see Trek-related events and merchandise.

San Diego Comic-Con will run from Thursday July 12 through Sunday July 15, with a preview night on Wednesday, July 11. Comic-Con will take place at the San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, California.

Events:

Wednesday, July 11-Saturday July 14: Star Trek: The Next Generation Cast Autograph and Photo Opportunities. In attendance at the Lightspeed Fine Art Booth (#3745) to sign autographs will be Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, LeVar Burton and Saul Rubinek (The Most Toys). Spiner and Sirtis will sign all day Wednesday to Friday, Burton will sign Friday and Saturday and Rubinek will be signing autographs on Saturday.

Thursday, July 12 2-3 PM Room 7 AB: Before and After: A Behind the Scenes Look at Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Journey Into High Definition. Panel includes Mike and Denise Okuda and others involved in the TNG Blu-ray effort.

Saturday, July 14 2-3 PM Booth #2643. Star Trek/Doctor Who Event. Billed as a cosplay event, fans are “welcome to come in costume and chat, pose for photos with each other, win some prizes and snatch up some Star Trek and Doctor Who tee shirts.”

Sunday, July 15 1-2 PM Booth #2913E. Beam Me Up. An Anovos cosplay event where fans can dress up in costume, get their photos taken, network and win prizes.

Merchandise and Give-aways:

StarTrek.com: CBS Booth #4129: StarTrek.com will be giving away 1701 copies of a limited-edition Star Trek: The Next Generation 25th anniversary print.

Hasbro: Booth #3213. Check out Hasbro’s new Star Trek/KRE-O characters.

Her Universe: Booth #2913F in the Lucasfilm Pavilion. See Her Universe’s new line of hoodies and tops designed for women, featuring a unique Star Trek logo designed especially for Her Universe.

Hallmark: Booth #2913: Hallmark unveils its Christmas 2013 Star Trek ornaments. Also on display will be the 2012 Star Trek ornaments, which will arrive in stores this Friday.

Anovos: Booth #2913E. Anovos Productions will debut the Star Trek: Voyager jumpsuit, Star Trek: The Next Generation outfit, and Star Trek: The Next Generation female jumpsuits.

La-La Land Records: Booth #429. For sale will be the new Star Trek: The Motion Picture 3-CD set and the Star Trek: The Next Generation 3-CD set. Fans can also get news about a future Deep Space Nine soundtrack release.
